As soon as the results are received, the heads of the institutions will inform the matter to the Department of Secondary and Higher Education by sending an email to the concerned district and upazila admission committee president. If the class-based vacancies of any institution are not filled after the publication of lottery results, the admission process of the remaining students has to be completed in those institutions following the previous instructions of the department.
In the case of admission of selected students by the order of the department, a meeting of the admission committee has called and it has said that the admission of the students should be taken following the proper hygiene rules.

It is to be noted that in the 2024 academic year, applications were accepted for the admission of students from first to ninth class in government and private secondary schools at metropolitan and district level till 12 noon on December 06 last. In case of private secondary school, there is an opportunity to apply till 12 midnight on 06 December. The digital lottery for Non-govt secondary schools is scheduled to be held on December 13.

ফলাফল পাওয়ার সঙ্গে সঙ্গে প্রতিষ্ঠান প্রধানরা তা সংশ্লিষ্ট জেলা ও উপজেলা ভর্তি কমিটির সভাপতি বরাবর ইমেইলে পাঠিয়ে বিষয়টি মাধ্যমিক ও উচ্চশিক্ষা অধিদপ্তরকে অবহিত করবেন। লটারির ফলাফল প্রকাশের পর কোনো প্রতিষ্ঠানের শ্রেণিভিত্তিক শূন্য আসন পূরণ না হলে, সেসব প্রতিষ্ঠানে অধিদপ্তরের পূর্ববর্তী নির্দেশনা অনুসরণ করে বাকি শিক্ষার্থীদের ভর্তি কার্যক্রম সম্পন্ন করতে হবে। অধিদপ্তরের আদেশে নির্বাচিত শিক্ষার্থীদের ভর্তির ক্ষেত্রে ভর্তি কমিটির সভা আহ্বান করে যথাযথ স্বাস্থ্যবিধি অনুসরণ করে শিক্ষার্থীদের ভর্তির ব্যবস্থা গ্রহণের কথা বলা হয়।

উল্লেখ্য, ২০২৩ শিক্ষাবর্ষে মহানগর ও জেলা পর্যায়ে সরকারি এবং বেসরকারি মাধ্যমিক বিদ্যালয়ে প্রথম থেকে নবম শ্রেণি পর্যন্ত শিক্ষার্থী ভর্তিতে সরকারি মাধ্যমিক বিদ্যালয়ের ক্ষেত্রে গত ০৬ ডিসেম্বর রাত ১২টা পর্যন্ত আবেদন নেওয়া হয়। বেসরকারি মাধ্যমিক বিদ্যালয়ের ক্ষেত্রেও ০৬ ডিসেম্বর রাত ১২টা পর্যন্ত আবেদন করার সুযোগ ছিল। বেসরকারি মাধ্যমিক বিদ্যালয়ের ডিজিটাল লটারি আগামী ১৩ ডিসেম্বর অনুষ্ঠিত হওয়ার কথা আছে।
