The Prime Minister’s Education Assistance Trust has extended a helping hand to those students who are having difficulty in getting admission in the 2022-2023 academic year in graduation (pass and honors) or equivalent classes due to lack of money. This is what the stipend wing of the trust said in a notice. In that case, this admission assistance will be provided to the 1st year meritorious students admitted in the academic year 2022-2023 in all public and private universities, colleges, madrasahs or equivalent educational institutions across the country to confirm their admission in the educational institutions. Interested students should apply online. This online application will continue till 7th September 2023.

According to the notice, in view of the relevant issues, it is being informed that in the graduation (pass and honors)/equivalent category in the academic year 2022-23, all public and private Universities/Colleges/Madrasas/equivalent level educational institutions of the 1st year meritorious students admitted in educational institutions. Admission assistance will be provided by the Prime Minister’s Education Assistance Trust in the financial year 2023-24.

In order to get admission assistance in financial year 2023-24 as per the guidelines for providing admission assistance to ensure admission of meritorious students in educational institutions, 2020, the student has to apply online by visiting the link at https://www.eservice.pmeat.gov.bd/admission.
The application should be made by downloading and printing the prescribed form uploaded by the Prime Minister’s Education Assistance Trust in the admission assistance service box of the website and taking the recommendation from the educational institution/head of the department in which the student is admitted.

আবেদনের নিয়মঃ সর্বপ্রথমে প্রতিষ্ঠানপ্রধান কর্তৃক সুপারিশ গ্রহণের জন্য নির্ধারিত ফর্ম ডাউনলোড করুন। তারপর প্রিন্ট করে পূরণ করুন ও আপনার শিক্ষা প্রতিষ্ঠানের প্রধানের নিকট থেকে সুপারিশ গ্রহণ করুন। অতঃপর ছবি, স্বাক্ষর, জন্মসনদ, অভিভাবকের এনআইডি, ও সুপারিশের কপি স্পষ্ট করে ছবি তুলুন.

Those Documents need to Submit
Children of all employees in grades 13 to 20 as per ‘National Pay Scale, 2015’ working in all Government-Semi-Government-Autonomous Departments and Constitutional Institutions engaged in the civil service of the Republic shall attach the pay grade certificate of the parent/guardian issued by the Head of Office along with the application form. Apart from this, in case of other students, the annual income of the student’s parent/guardian given by the educational institution/head of the department should be attached to the extent of less than two lakh BDT.
Handicapped students, orphan students, children of landless families, children of river erosion families, children/children of destitute freedom fighters should attach proof in favor of getting priority in getting admission assistance.
1st year poor meritorious students admitted in the academic year 2022-23 in Graduate (Pass & Hons)/equivalent class must attach the certified mark sheet of the last class or examination they have passed with the application for admission assistance to confirm admission in the educational institution.
