Octane, Petrol, Diesel Price in Bangladesh 2025 – Fuel Oil Price in BD
Power, energy and mineral resources state minister Nasrul Hamid on Tuesday announced that new fuel oil prices based on the automatic pricing guideline would be published in a gazette by this week. He has also told reporters at the Secretariat yesterday that the price of all kinds of fuel oils will reduce.
State Minister for Power, Energy and Mineral Resources Nasrul Hamid also has indicated that a significant adjustment will be made to fuel oil prices in Bangladesh. Starting from Thursday, prices will be adjusted in the first week of each month under a new automatic system based on the international market, according to him.

As per automatic fuel pricing, diesel and kerosene prices may come down by Tk 105 per litre. To prevent fuel adulteration, the price of kerosene will, however, be the same as that of diesel. While the price of octane is Tk 130 to Tk 126 per liter and petrol is Tk 125 to Tk 126 per litre.

New Price of the Octane is likely to be set at 115 Tk from 130 Tk. As Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is the Minister of Power, Energy and Mineral Resources, the proposed revised price of fuel has been sent to the Prime Minister’s Office.
